The episode begins with a recap of Marjorie’s (Mimi Kennedy) story with her son Jerry (Wallace Langham) and how they managed to make amends with each other after a long time of not having any type of contact or relationship between them. Before the AA meeting starts, we see Tammy (Kristen Johnston) telling Bonnie (Allison Janey) that her husband Adam (William Fichtner) is a bitch since he prohibited her from entering his office as she used to. Bonnie tells her that she is not even allowed into his pockets, so she understands the frustration behind it. Bonnie joins Christy (Anna Faris), Wendy (Beth Hall) and Jill (Jaime Pressly) who are at the other side of the room and then sees Marjorie carrying a baby bouncer so she is curious to know if the woman is treating her cats as babies again. Marjorie explains that she is babysitting her granddaughter Sophia. Bonnie gets mad because Marjorie didn’t tell her anything about it, but Christy and Jill assure her that she did and that they even had a long discussion about it over lunch. They even try to remind her of her opinion and how she made fun of them, but it doesn’t ring any bell for Bonnie. Marjorie approaches to them and shows them the baby bouncer and Bonnie tells her that she knows that she is babysitting her granddaughter and that she remembers everything what she said about it. Marjorie states that it’s incredible since she wasn’t even present when she announced it, something that proves that Christy and Jill were messing with her in the first place. Marjorie and Bonnie leave and Christy tells Jill that she finds it very funny to play with her mother’s head and Jill believes that her friend doesn’t have a lot do to with her own life.

The day has arrived and Marjorie’s son Jerry seems to be concerned about leaving his little girl all alone with his mother for the very first time, but his wife Amber (Jennifer Marsala) tries to convince him that everything will be alright. He gives Marjorie the church and reception hall number in case she needs assistance, but his mother says that she has everything covered and that she even went to the fire station to get the baby’s car seat installed. When the couple finally leave Marjorie shows her granddaughter around the place and all of a sudden she realizes that she has stepped onto cat barf. Marjorie thinks that maybe one of her cats is sick. She calls Christy and asks for her help with the situation asking her to take her cat to the vet while she cares for Sophia. Unfortunately, while she is giving her the instructions to follow Christy realizes that she will not be able to handle it so she asks her to switch places instead. Marjorie doesn’t seem quite convinced of it but accepts it nonetheless. They exchange cars and the blonde is left alone with the baby. She introduces herself to her and starts to play games to keep her entertained. She sneezes and tells the baby that she is not sick but is allergic to cats. Christy decides to take a tissue out of the box and Sophia starts to laugh about it. Christy thinks that it might be a good way to entertain her. When she is out of tissue boxes the baby starts to cry so Christy takes her to the store in order to buy some more. That’s when she sees a woman at the other side of the aisle that she recognizes as one of her meanest teachers, Professor Winslow (Anne-Marie Johnson). She tries to ignore her and turns the other way but the teacher has already seen her and is on her way to say hello. Professor Winslow tells Christy that she didn’t know she had a baby and now she understands why she is always late, distracted and unprepared. She promises that she’ll have more patience with Christy from now on.

Later that day Bonnie arrives to Marjorie’s house and sees Christy lying down in the couch looking terrible. The blonde tells her that she didn’t think it was that bad, but she is not capable to take care of the baby in her current state. Christy also explains how she saw her teacher at the store and let her believe that Sophia was her daughter, but now feels awful about it. Bonnie doesn’t think is that bad. When Bonnie is left alone with the baby. She takes her on a tour around Marjorie’s house and then takes her out. While she is driving she’s showing her the places where she got hammered in the past and suddenly gets a flat tire. Bonnie parks at the side of the road and looks for a spare tire but only manages to find a spare Christmas sweater. She tries to go back inside the car, but the door closes right in front of her. She talks to the baby and asks her to open the door for her but the baby just laughs at her. She tries to use a hook to open it but with no success she then comes up with the idea of using the trunk of the car to get inside. Bonnie manages to get her head into the back seat greeting Sophia as “Here is Bonnie!” When she thinks she has managed to find her way in, she gets stuck in the car’s trunk.

Jill arrives to assist Bonnie who is happily singing to Sophia. She takes her with her to her house while Bonnie waits for assistance with Marjorie’s car. Jill puts Bugs Bonnie on her TV and tells the baby that she used to watch those cartoons back in the day although not always under a convenient state. She then realizes that there are some scenes playing that she doesn’t remember and thinks that are inappropriate for a baby. So, she decides to turn them off. She tells Sophia that she really wants to have one like her someday.

Jill shows up at the AA meeting carrying Sophia with her and meets with Tammy and Wendy. Tammy believes that Jill stole the baby and then she explains that she is Marjorie’s granddaughter and the reason why she is taking care of her. She asks them to hold the baby while she takes her hat out of her bag since the room is cold. Wendy refuses to take her and asks her to keep the baby away from her. She is questioned by Tammy about why if she is a nurse she doesn’t like babies and Wendy explains that she is an adult nurse and is happy that way. Tammy holds Sophia while Jill puts a hat on her and then gives it back to her. Jill has a breakdown while carrying the baby as she remembers that she cannot have one of her own. Tammy tells her that she will take the baby to Marjorie while she attends the meeting since she seems to need it more than her. Tammy is driving the baby to Marjorie’s house while telling her that she was born at a great era for a woman since she can speak her mind, be fierce and brave. Something rings in her mind and makes her to make the decision to stop at Adam’s bar. She enters the place and tells him that she quits. Adam seems surprised to hear that and then she explains that if he doesn’t trust her there is no pint on working together. He explains that he asked all of the employees to not to enter his office because he doesn’t trust any of them but that has nothing to do with her. Tammy feels relieved about it and decides to go back to work with him.

Marjorie arrives to her house and finds no one there. She calls Christy who explains that the baby is with Bonnie since she wasn’t feeling well at all. They start to call each one of the women who the baby was supposed to be with until they finally reach Tammy who is happy to be on a group call for the first time and has just arrived to Marjorie’s house.

At night Jerry and Amber return and are so happy to find the baby safe and sound. They agree they will definitely leave the baby under Marjorie’s care again. When they are about to leave Marjorie stops Jerry and tells him what truly happened and how she wanted to be honest with him given the time it took for them to fix their situation. He thanks her for her honesty and finally calls her “mom,” something that it definitely didn’t go unnoticed by Marjorie who immediately calls Christy and tells her the good news. Christy is so happy by it that she says she will make a group call again.
